am i being too picky??
my heater used to get warm in the mornings after, say 5 mins idle and drive 2-3 miles... thats quite a lot to get it to get warm./. the gauge showed middle after 1 mile tho.
well soon after, i topped up my coolant/antifreeze// and i realised it was a bit low,,,
and now, i switch it on in the morning, leave it 1 min or less, then drive off.. 300/400 yards of driving and its gettin warm
temp gauge shows 30degrees and the temp on the dash is still down
i get suspicious when something good happens

i normally have loads of rubbish, like crisp packs and empty cans of COKE... cant be bothered normally to clean it up when i come back, so i do it in the morning... and also scrape the ice off
if i dont have anything to clean and no ice, i leave it idle for less... just cuz i got used to this now

If the heater is blowing hot sooner, then it didnt have enough coolant to fill the heater! The heater is at the highest point in the system so that coolant isnt wasted on the heater when the level is dangerously low.

"Does it"? Surely you mean 'did it'?. It did, going on what youve said, but youre hardly clear are you? Your post above barely makes any sense.
