i have a hks induction kit fitted to a 95 wrx trying to find out what bhp increase this has but have found conflicting stories .from scooby sport: ScoobySport recommend that owners fit a high quality, free flow air filter. There are two types of air filter that can be fitted to an Impreza, a "panel" filter that goes in the existing filter box, or a "cone" filter. Cone filters are sometimes called Induction Kits, but on an Impreza these filters must use the Subaru Induction system, from where it joins the standard air filter box and so do not improve the induction properties of the air as it flows towards the turbo. Cone filters are generally very noisy and rarely have the same filtration properties of a panel filter. ScoobySport prefer a good quality panel filter as the filtration is better and there is no increase in noise. TDI powertuning: Stage 2 upgrade: (25 BHP)

HKS ‘PowerFlow’ free flow induction system with built in velocity stack for turbulence free induction. Also removes restrictive resonator box on early models. was wondering if anyone had the same fitted and had the figures cheers

I've just fitted one to my 1996 STi,its an HKS item, probably giving you 2-4 bhp possibly!!!!!.
The first time the wife drove the car she said there was an air leak from the pedals

Improves throttle response slightly and on pre 97 cars you dont have to worry to much about the MAF sensor problem.
Hope this helps

Have you considered the BMC Carbon Dynamic Air Filet, quiet, cold air, more power.
