Default Your best mod for 2008?

Hi, just wondered what your best mod was in 2008?
Mine was fitting a pair of whiteline ARB's (and i've done a lot of mods this year!)

Wheels, 18" Rota GTRs with some decent tyres at last (Falken 452's compared with the LingLongs fitted when I bought the car).

The rear drop links look like they are fitted incorrectly as the tie bars have been fitted on the wrong sides.

my lateral links aint standard ones, the brackets are seperate for the drop links,,,, they been fitted back to front whilst i get some rose jointed ones made for me,,, its the only way they would fit which is anoying but aint the fault of the part,,,, the rear lateral arms are designed like that so you can fit straight drop links to em like on the front,, downside was i had to cut mine off the roll bar due to the threads spinning,,, hence this bodge

8" wide, 235 section tyres and a 48mm offset fits the arches nicely. Add the 50mm drop and it really suits.

Done quite a bit of spending this year... been fitted with:

RCM/K&N induction.
RCM oil catch tank & steel braided hose return to sump.
HardRace engine & gearbox mounts.
PPG gearbox & Exedy Twin Plate with lightweight chromoly flywheel.
KW Variant 3 coilovers.
Noltec Clubsport front top mounts.
Noltec rear adjustable control arms.
Perrin ALK, Sub-frame lockdown kit,
22mm front, 25mm rear swaybar inc stoutmounts.
Perrin rear drop links & Whiteline front drop links.
Whiteline roll centre adjusters.

Phormula knock sensor.
Defi V2 Controller and boost/oil pressure/Defi-link oil temperature gauge.
Innovate LC1 Wideband with XD-16 gauge

Hmmm.... favourite would be the KW Variants.... Look and feel awesome!!

Toss up between the new Rota GRA's or the remainder of the Type25 handling kit (ASTs and front ARB).

Haven't had chance to really test the handling yet, so i'll go for the wheels. Love the gunmetal/jap racer look. Amazing how much the wheels change the look of the car.

A lot of money been spent there!!

My favouroute mod this year must be my HT Auto's front splitter. Completely transformed the front end instantly making it look more aggressive!!
