Default Big car crematorium in the sky...

I will bid you farewell...and thanks for the help while I have been here.

The car set on fire while driving it

Smelt of petrol, I stopped, tried to open bonnet but too much smoke and in the 15 mins it took for the fire chaps to arrive the whole car was a burnt out shell.

No more scoobies for me, but it was fun!

My pal "rescued" an extinguisher from a written-off ambulance (double fatality), very bad karma, but it has pride of place in my boot !

bad news! lucky your ok! the fuel pipe came off mine a few months back as i drove into my street, like you said big smell of fuel and conked out as i was pulling onto my drive!fuel was every where all over the engine!simmering all in under the inlet manifold was very lucky!seems the pipe from the filter to the rail had gone very hard with age and did not move with the engine and popped off lol,now been replaced and fine, still got the trail of fuel up my road where it stained the tarmac lol, might be worth checking people as it only cost £10 for 1m of fuel injection pipe and changed in seconds.
