Default 05 sti, should it have dccd?

Its probably been said before but cant find the answer,

I looked at a 05 sti to buy today but it dint have the dccd control, the dial or on the dash. It does have the other 05 bits, wheel arch trims and larger hubs, wheels, dash etc.

Is this ok? were some made like this or should it have the dccd.

cheers for any help

Strange if it has the larger wheel arches, hubs and wheels, it should have the dccd as well, mine does

Probably an EU import? Not all 05 EU Imports had DCCD - Motorpoint used to sell DCCD and non DCCD versions.

Theres always a price at which it would be worth having. The question is: will the vendor sell the car for that?

lol just posted similar on the other thread and didnt see this thread, it was stnadard on the uk cars and you paid the extra 1k for it, optional on euro imports.

cheers for that, think it did come from motorpoint.

If i could get this car for a good price, (any idea?) would it be worth it or be better paying abit more and getting a uk one?

other question does the dccd actually make much differnce?

It will be worth less than a car fitted with dccd, and yes you should pay that bit extra and get the dccd, it does improve the handling

Are you intending taking the car on track? If DCCD is going to be a toy you don't play with, then go for one without. How much is the car up for?
