what shall i do opinions please
well i have a 97 wrx with a few mods as far as i know a remap and headers on top of what i have now will take me to around 330 ish bhp.
but what shall i do spend the 900 on and apexi uprate the brakes and fit coilovers spending around 2k ish .
or do i give it up sell the car save the 2k and and start again with a 99 sti type r and usea better platform.
but then again to get to the same stage in a 99 will cost me roughly 2k on top of the price of the car.
just cant decide if its worth carrying on with the wrx or start fresh with an sti

Don't forget the standart type r has more goodies than your tuned wrx, 280+ , after de cat and maping you'll have probably 320+ . The headers and map without turbo , cooler, and injectors won't take your wrx to 330ish, and that's much more than 1k .... next level....

im in a similer position at the moment, ive got a 97 sti, im buying stuff for it as it needs it but also i wanna buy a porsche too and 996's can be had for around 16k upwards which i can just about stretch too
im gonna get some scoobie parts anyway THEN decide, may even try and save a little more and have both

typeR is prettier to the masses, and it is widely reputed to be a better car.
However, logic and subaru themselves have admitted that the typeR chassis is the weakest in the range.
The wagon was the strongest, then the saloon and finally the P1/
R.
When interviewed, the head cheese of Sti stated that his favourite car was the Sti version3, most raw, best head/cams and a few other reasons.
This is going to be unpopular with the mainstream sheep, but keep your V3 as by comparison the typeR is impractical and, well, crap.

im a fan of wagons allways have been allways will be tbh , id spend the money if you like the car enough ! if you want a chnage sell up .im spending the money on myuk wagon cause i like the car if i didnt i wouldnt .
