Default 2004 BMW 330 CD swap?

After getting rid of my much loved sierra cosworth I got all grown up and went for a BMW 330CD E46 coupe in silver. Great car with black leather, bluetooth hands free, electric memory seats e.t.c but after only having the car for a few weeks Im slightly dissapointed.

Although the car is a quality drive as you would expect from BMW and is in as new condition with only 40k on the clock Im not sure i can live it. Main reason is it runs on satans fuel (bought because I wanted a break from putting £20 fuel in a day in the cossie!), and although theres loads of low down torque (300ft/lb) theres nothing top end. Im used to things the other way round!

Its also becoming a pain in the **** when i use it on a weekend to go field target shooting, the farmers field and woods I shoot in is getting increasingly bogged down with all the farm traffic and wet weather, something which never bothered me in the 4x4 sapphy but notice all the more in the low rear wheel driven BMW.

I have not advertised the car just yet as my mrs would kill me if she knew my intentions (she happens to love it and hates subarus/cosworths/evos) but if i do advertise it I think i might end up going for a subaru or a volkswagen toureg (not too different I know!)

Anybody looking for an immaculate 330CD who has a late model subaru 04 onwards that might like to swap? I paid £11,500 which was cheap only a month ago so would be looking for something of similar value or thereabouts?

Long shot I know, will probably end up advertising however cars are not shifting so much at the moment so swap may be quicker/easier.

Can email pics if interested.

Cheers,
Karl.

I was meant to say BMW maintenance pack remaining until November 2009.

Too many typos sorry.

damn, so tempting! Ive spent the last few weeks looking a 330d`s and 330ci`s on pistonheads as i now have a mileage requirement for work.

Mines an 03 Sti, and although only covered 34k and a subaru proven car (under warranty still) the vultures on here will say its worth 7-8k

I paid 12.5k from main dealer 6 months ago

Still theres got to be a few impreza owners contemplated something like a 330D, sure youll get more responses soon.

Yeah, I will give it a week then put it on Autotrader it might go straight away or might take a few weeks or even months now Christmas is coming up. Thats why I thought it would be easier to swap.

I MIGHT consider a cheaper part ex with money on top but would really like 2004+

In the meantime driving the 330d is not the end of the world! Im sure I can put it up with it

Yeah from what ive seen they appear to be holding value reasonably.

330ci`s on the other hand though! cheap as chips apart from the odd dealers with overpriced clubsports well imho anyway.
