Dccd help?
Not had my Scooby long. 2004 STI. To be honest dont know too much about them yet.
Keep reading about DCCD. But my car doesnt seem to have it. Or at least I cant find the switch, lol. Should it be standard fitment on STI's or is it an optional extra?

DCCD Came out on very late 54 cars in the uk sometimes known as the STi9 yours sounds like an 8 they easy way to tell if your car should have come with DCCD is if it looks like this
plastic "Spats" around the rear wheel arches and this type of alloy wheel as standard (with 113.5pcd)
Sory not the best angle of photo

edit, after a bit more digging on my photobucket I found one that shows the rear spats a bit better

Don't know if it makes much of a difference over normal diffs as I've not really driven one without dccd but I know from driving my type-r (with dccd) that if your not even half awake on a wet day it will bite as they are biased towards the rear wheels
