Default Running Problem

Guys i recently picked up my old P1 which i sold last year and had teh chance to buy i tback so i did last month and TRY to use it just as a second car.

Last week i left it from monday to friday got in it on saturday and it was very hesitant to run, on idle is fine but when it is in gear and you accelorate it really struggles to rev passed 3k on gentle accel and it coughs and spits if you use a harder right foot.

now after a couple of miles it starts getting better untill it is running fine, but i did notice within a mile'ish the wtaer was uo to temp, the oil temp was still cold and the oil pressure is around 6bar on load..

basicly used it over the weekend and other than that day no problem at all.

left it standing on monday night and got back in it this morning and the same thing happend

any ideas what this could be, was thinking prob down to the cold weather or something but any chance it is more to worry about? if so what? maf ?

cheers

ayup matey, my car did this a couple of months back, only seemed to do it when cold or damp outside, took it to be sorted and they said it was just a coilpack cracked, they put me another one on and its been fine since.

My vote would go to the coolant temp sensor.
