sorry to hijack, I'm thinking of doing this as well on my classic. Does anyone know if it will firm things up well, or will a strut brace need to be fitted too?

I changed the rear and it transformed the car I had to use an angle grinder to cut off the old droplinks as they didn't want to come off!

Undoing the drop links can be a real pain. It took me approx 3 hrs, a pair of mole-grips and alot of swearing .

Ideally you will get new bolts with the drop-links... so it doesn't matter when they snap !

I'd say an hour including coffee, and wash handies afterwards !

P.S. I had to jack the passenger side rear up a little to slide the new bar round the exhaust !

Scooby Stu,

I did the rear bar first for some drift action, then did the front with an ALK, this turns the grip up from 10 to 11

But I'm old and need a quite life, can't be drifting everywhere...
