What colour would you have ???
Hi all basically i'm having a complete re-spray in the next few weeks, and up untill tonight when i popped into my mates place (the guy who's doing it for me) i was set on just having it sprayed in the same colour as it is (Wr blue) its a blobeye wrx btw.
But when he asked if i fancy a change i'm now very tempted , why not eh ? but the problem is what to go for if any change at all , i've got to say a white blobeye looks sweet (imo).
Will doing this affect the value or raise any suspisions when or if i do come to sell it .
i dont need pics really as there are plenty of beauties on here for all to see , i just wondered what the genreral favourite was etc .
Cheers
Dave

Yeah i have thats the problem , theres outside the box and then theres miles away from the box , i just dont want something what'll end up looking too different ,
However i do really like the pearl white of a tvr sagaris , but again think it may be a bit too much on a big car

What about a colour from another brand, like what Gary suggested?
Or a colour from a prestige brand. Lambo yellow anyone

The grey also goes really well with carbon, if you wanted to add some goodies onto it afterwards.
(is also easy to colour match if it needs any touching up)

Are you talking about a full respray? Engine out, the works ? I wouldnt do it a different colour unless you are going to do it right. Nothing worse than seeing an open bonnet with a different colour underneath. If you are go for 555 blue 53c Never seen a blob in that colour.

From an insurance point of view they shouldn't load you any extra, enless...
a) You increase the value of the car
b) Go for a one off or flip paint. The reason being any repair costs could be increased if the paint had to be specially made, and labour costs could increase also.

That makes sense fella , not that a flip paintjob is my thing though , but if you know of a colour that'll push the value up let me know cos that will definately be the one

Great pic ian , colour looks good to , but maybe a bit much for me
Martwrxsl , i'm not entirely sure tbh , the guy doing it has been a mate since we were 5 , so i know the price for me will be awsome and havent even bothered to ask ,
I know for the dent removal guy to do everything he could find for 120 for me through my mate , which i thought was fookin great
