i have although on pics looks a bit shinny cause just been washed and did my bumper as well... only cause when i bought the new front end tried it against the car and thought actually on a white car with dark wheels that looks pretty good thought about doing the spoiler and boot as well but didn't think it'll look right but could be wrong

looks good pugsley, as for copying a carbon bonnet no, see it on a few other jap cars and thought it might look good . got chance of a bonnet for £30 so not lose much cheers j

It was a requirement for rally cars back in the early 70's to have matt black bonnets. Presumably it was an attempt to reduce the risk of glare from low sun blinding the driver. Still plenty of historic rally cars with the matt black bonnet look as a result. I guess it derives from this look.
