Default Stolen WRX

Hi,

some theiving toe rag broke into my house whilst I was sleeping, rummaged around for the keys and took off with my wrx and the wifes Clio 172 sport, mobile and handbags also went
The cheeky gits called our house phone from her moby to say both cars were missing from the driveway!

Tracker has picked up the car in Reading, I am not sure what state it will be in BUT they have a set of keys
I am going to have to replace the locks / imobilser I guess, does anyone know what sort of money we are looking at here?

Kind Regards - hacked off from Bracknell

feel for ya bro. this happened to me but they couldnt get to my car keys.
this is almost a epidemic these days. even though they didnt get my cars it has left me well out of pocket and not to mention the emotional upset to me and my family.

I agree it is the fact that they have been inside my house!

hate to think about the cost of the locks

I wanted to make everyone aware, and to keep the keys hidden and the doors double locked at night

and they used to say hide your keys or take them to bed for you i heard that on police camera action.
sod that if they have got the stupidity to break into someones house they have the stupidity to challenge you and your family while you are unaware asleep upstairs and get the keys by force.

my keys are left down stairs on the kitchen worktop i wouldnt fancy someone holding a screw driver to my kids necks.

Yeah, damn right. If they've gone to the extremes of breaking into the house, they're not going to leave empty handed are they. I'd rather they quietly took the cars rather than wake up to find one of them holding a knife at me to get the keys.

They used a device throughthe letterbox to open the door, we raised the handle but did not double lock the door - hence they got in
