It never rains...........
..but it pours
Windscreen cracked Monday night, went in today to get a new one, £50 excess
Just been back to reject it as it's covered in ripples all over the passenger side It's made by a company called Lamishield. The company that did it will send it back to them for their refund, but it'll still cost THEM two fittings
Now it has to be done AGAIN next Wednesday.
At least it won't cost me again.

Couple of tips I've learnt
1) Ensure they replace the plastic strips at the side of the windsreens and use new clips (pennies from Subaru) as they always break when removing the strips. Sometimes they try and use the old clips by pressing them in the glue - they eventually come free.
2) Go to your local dealer and find out where they get windscreens replaced. And use that firm as they'll know what they're doing
There is usually a clause on the insurance which means you can go to any screen repair, but you have to pay and then claim it back I think.
