Usually around 20-30 unless I have a drive out at the weekend, which may add some more depending on where I go

Flippin' 'eck I know you know this, but at 25mpg that's about £200 per week in petrol . Get yourself a diesel and buy a house with the money you save!

Can vary quite significantly but averages out at 650, can be as high as 1000 in a week.

About 200 miles so far this year and about 500 last year. I get the train in every day and weekends I'm doing family stuff so it never gets used much.

Hmmm, Varied comments, Most of those 900 miles are Motorway which are no fun at all. Hopefully will have the use of another car soon for a couple of days a week, don't want to kill my pride and joy!!!

400 km (about 240 miles) per week. I was a little concerned over the K's building up on my new engine but my boss has just given me a shiny new Toyota HiLux V6 4ltr......and a credit card to fill it with juice......which is just as well as it gets through about $100/week!!!

I used to think $1.10/litre was cheap, now it's $1.35 (about 65p)......bloody rip-off!!!

Some of the mileages (the low ones!) are just plain daft. Why tax, insure, and service a car to leave it depreciating in the garage? The cost per mile must be enormous. If you're only going to drive it once a month then why not hire one? Potentially a different car every time or you could spend more money on the car you spend 99% of your time driving. I appreciate all the usual arguments about beaters and weekend cars, but surely there comes a point where basically never using it becomes the overwhelming argument?
