Default forge actuator upgrade

I have a 2004 sti running a tek3 remap to 340hp and a standard vf35 turbo/actuator running 1.4-1.5 bar but dropping boost to 1.1bar, I have recently uprated to actuator to a forge motorsport with uprated spring to keep the boost holding. this now only seems to peak at around 1.2 bar MAX, yet it has a much stronger spring than the 35??

any ideas guys??

Cheers

Paul

If it's the green spring it's probably weaker than the standard actuator. I had this on my one, I had to replace it with a yellow spring, went from around 1.27 bar to over 1.55 as soon as it was fitted. This was of course prior to my remap, which you will need.

thanks, this is running the blue spring 18psi which is why it is even more confusing. my old standard actuator opened at 5psi but peaked at 1.5bar!
would another remap sort this?

Yes, I think a remap is in order!
