Default How mwny miles from rebuilt engine

Hi all
just having engine rebuild after oil pump decided not to play ball
im having everything changed apart from the main block ect which is getting skimmed n machined etc.
how long can i expect it to last driving it daily with the odd blast and doing normally 2 rwyb a year.
its a v5 sti it had done 92,000miles before oil pump went.
can i expect 100,000 miles from it as long as its regulary serviced and always warmed and cooled. only have a few subtle mods around 330bhp
thanks all mick

if its a quality rebuild then it should be better than new. Obviously the sundries like water pump / oul pump (which you have already discovered) can fail and cause engine problems, but assuming everything working as it should then it should run and run (my own 92 wrx had over 140k on the clock when I sold that, and I believe it is still going strong)

nice one its being done by zen performance so should be 100% having new water oil pumps gaskets bolts pistons crank rods etc so hoping i can get at least 90 k apart from a bigger top mount and a remap im not planning to mod much more power wise

Would be interested to know. I had a brand new IM-EX Pro engine supplied by Subaru for my P1 which let go. £3299 + VAT + fitting. Brand new, genuine, and with a 3 year/60k warranty as well.

did that also include finding the cause of the previous engines reason for letting go?
