Default Brake disc rotation

can anyone with big prodrive alcons have a look and tell me.... are my discs the right way round??



im sure thet had L and R marked on them when i fitted them but people keep telling me the groves are the wrong way round???

They go the same way around as my DBA discs, which where also marked and included instructions.

It depends on the direction of the internal vanes.........they are meant to throw the cooling air out via centrifugal force.

As all have said it's the internal vents that are important. The grooves or slots you can see on the disc face smetimes go one way sometimes the other depends on manutacturer. There's another similar diagram to the above here which to me is clearer.

As Ian says (and my post number 3), the internal vanes are venting air outwards the way you have fitted them
