Yes it's correct as long as you're referring to classic shape cars.

Uk models have ' S U B A R U' in chrome lettering on the boot; front lights have washer jets; pull out aerial on drivers door; grill badge is the Pleiades constellation and no rear wash/wipe. I think these are the most obvious differences that a UK car has over an import.

most jap import cars will have a seperate bolt on fog light unless converted to main light cluster but to be sure check reg document theres an import section on it that should be empty

Incorrect, my car has the aerial on the A-pillar. It's hitty missy on the aerial.

UK supplied car will not have a rear wash wipe, unless like "Alcazar's" it's been changed.

A UK car will have a split and fold rear seat; unless its an RB5.

it wont have electric fold in mirrors either. air con was a very expensive option also, but not a definitive reason to prove. it may have a seperate fog light on the rear bumper if an import also.

An absolute will be the 'VIN' plate. JDM cars do not have an international format seventeen character VIN: only a short chassis number.
