Default uk/import is this right

is this right

turbo 2000 are all uk models

wrx is the import model

if its not right i'm about to get a turbo 2000 how do i know if its uk?

Yes it's correct as long as you're referring to classic shape cars.

Uk models have ' S U B A R U' in chrome lettering on the boot; front lights have washer jets; pull out aerial on drivers door; grill badge is the Pleiades constellation and no rear wash/wipe. I think these are the most obvious differences that a UK car has over an import.

yes correct, and don't forget all STI's are imports too

again, only true when talking about classics

most jap import cars will have a seperate bolt on fog light unless converted to main light cluster but to be sure check reg document theres an import section on it that should be empty

Incorrect, my car has the aerial on the A-pillar. It's hitty missy on the aerial.

UK supplied car will not have a rear wash wipe, unless like "Alcazar's" it's been changed.

A UK car will have a split and fold rear seat; unless its an RB5.

it wont have electric fold in mirrors either. air con was a very expensive option also, but not a definitive reason to prove. it may have a seperate fog light on the rear bumper if an import also.

An absolute will be the 'VIN' plate. JDM cars do not have an international format seventeen character VIN: only a short chassis number.

cant believe nobody has mentioned the back to front indicator clusters too.
