Default Bootlid and lock removal

How easy is it to remove the bootlid and remove the lock and replace with STI bootlid and replace original lock? I bought a bootlid so that I don't have to drill additional holes for the STI 8 spolier...

Removing bootlid is 4 bolts, iirc, but mark where it fits before loosening them.

If fitting a different bootlid, you'll need to go by wherever it was fitted before, then close it, judge the gaps and adjust as necessary.

It might sound daft, but ensure it's catch works, and can be opened BEFORE, closing it.

Lock replacement, I've not done, sorry. Ask a local bodyshop for advice?

Lock is fairly easy too. It has a metal clip, pushing it against the bodywork to hold it in place. Its "U" or "C" shaped depending how you look at it, so you can only pull it one way. Then you remove the bar connecting the lock to the latch.
