I've never seen a 'PPP downpipe' that looks like this before!

As the seller says: 'You can trust me, there is a hole straight through so there is no cat in this pipe'.

Its a rear centre decat pipe and looks catted to me

 

myt of just been gutted so looklikes you have a cat if you get pulled over

 

its a PPP de-cat, they look just like a CAT on the outside but inside is just a pipe

The PPP is not a decat. That's illegal. They run a sportscat.

 

Not quite true. It's illegal to run a car which would fail an emissions test

please trust me i work on these lol, the car comes from the factory with 2 cats, when fitting the ppp you fit this to the vehicle and the emissions are fine with the 1 cat, its subarus way of keeping the government happy lol, i think i have a spare of of these at work, if i have i will try to take some pics of the inside so you can see.

Yup, he's not wrong.

The PPP comes with a straight through section to replace the second cat, before it is fitted to the vehicle, you are supposed to remove the heat shields from the cat pipe & fit them to the de-cat section, althought I have seen plenty of cars where the shield has been left off.

That all depends on weather its an Sti or a Wrx..... An Sti only has 2.

 

The photo is deffo the centre pipe that runs between the downpipe and the centre section. Wether there is a cat in the pipe or wether it is a Prodrive decat pipe?
