Hi.

I have a slight problem on my (wait for the drumroll.......) Subaru Justy!! which has chewed up and spat out its offdside CV boot / gaiter.

Because i cannot afford to get it repaired professionally, i was thinking about getting a universal split rubber stretch CV boot/gaiter kit which would save me having to pull the drive-shaft out because of the split rubber which gets glued.

Has anybody here used these? Do they hold up? Is the glue strong enough to hold the grease in and protect the CV joint from dirt moisture?
