Default Please Explain the New Age Spec C

Can someone (who nows what there on about) explain the difference between a new age spec C STI and a normal newage STI. I'm very interested in one of these, but would prefer some info before i decide.
Tuning potential, compared to a normal STI
Specialised parts
everyday running etc..

The spec c's are much more raw cars, lightweight glass, aliminium roof (I think...) quick steering rack etc, stronger internals than the UK versions, basically the holy grail of Impreza's.....can be tuned quite high on the stock internals too, scoobytyson's is a hell of a nice car, running mid 450's I think, saw it at Thoresby parked in between about 10 Evo's, stood out, looked great.

Tuning potential is good, you have an engine oil cooler (mounted at the front drivers side of the engine) and a transmission oil cooler, 120kg lighter than a normal STI due to lack of insulation, lighter glass, lightened body panels and most of all, a different front subframe.

Thay are more "raw", but they are also great cars, not your everyday sort of scoob because if you do lots of miles you will feel it (they can tire you out more) and only a 50ltr fuel tank.

Best thing to do is test drive one, dont think you will look back after that but buy a cheap mondeo for the missus, she may complain abit
