Default shells

can anyone give me some help if a car was bored out from a 1.6 to a 1.8 and the shells were damaged what would the tolerance and size be for a machinest to fit the crankshaft or if i took the crankshaft to a machinist with the damaged shells would they be able to correct it

Take your crank to a machine shop and get them to measure it- if the crank journals are not too badly scored,they will machine/grind the journals to take oversized shells.
