Default Ebay Turbos from the US

Why are they so cheap?
I know there are customs fees to consider, even so, this is cheap for a brande new turbo:
Mitsubishi Evo Subaru Impreza TD05 Turbocharger Turbo on eBay, also Engine Tuning Parts, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 06-Jul-08 19:05:22 BST)

Anyone had one or heard any horror stories about them?

Its a piece of crap. Plus IIRC The evo turbo is completely different to the Subaru one yet this guy reckons it fits all evo’s and early and later front entry Impreza’s.

I glanced very quickly at it but I think it says it fits both cars. Id buy a genuine local if it was me.

Yes, it does say it fits EVo and Subaru. But it also says it is a specific TD05. Doesn't the TD part indicate that it is a specific fitment type, there for can be used on vehicles which uses that.

Also, why do you think its a piece of crap? I'm aware that there are cheaply made items out there, but you can't really tell from the picture.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the compressor wheel spins in a different direction to that of a scoob, plus all of what is said above
