Exclamation Quick intercooler question

For a bugeye wrx - Sti 8 intercooler £240 or APS top mount £400 is the APS worth the difference in cash?

Many thanks

Cheers Frayz. Just saved me £160 quid. Will the car need a re-map after fitting or should it run ok?

Bigger top mount just sits over the turbo and gets roasted.... IMHO !

IC makes little difference, but to extract the maximum benefit a re-map will be advisable.

It would be advisable to have a remap. You will have altered the existing map profile requirements so will only get the best from your alterations with a remap and it is possible you will have DET somewhere because of the change so play safe.
Personally I think a capable front mount such as Hybrid would be a better option if you want to improve induction temperatures and performance.
