Just wondered if anybody else had used the new Rochdale Subaru dealership and what there impressions were of the garage as a whole.

 

Depends on what you want to use it for..

For parts I still use Robbi's as Justin knows Subaru's pretty well, and I find it easier to order parts from someone who has half a clue.

For service I know one of Robbi's mechanics works there.

For sales, I do not know, BUT the owner (M Kar) is very approachable, and seems a thouroughly nice chap.

 

It was sales i was referring to, i part ex my Scooby there and to be honnest they have be useless, never returning calls etc. And so far its taken 3 months to sort a new key and alarm fob out. Just wondered if this was a one off

Robinsons kicked Official Subaru Cars into touch in January with regards to selling cars but still service them and repair under warranty. And now sell Imports.

I didn't buy my 08 STI from Rochdale but did go and look at one there. The saleswoman was very helpful even in the pouring rain and I know it's not politically correct but she was pretty damn gorgeous Looked a small outfit but very well laid out.

I understood ROBINSONS had gone. So is it still in business?

Ialways understood they were a Subaru approved repairer but not for sales.

The Subarus they sold new were parallel imports from Malta and Cyprus.

So could someone in the know clarify if Robinsons still functions. If so handy for service bits for me.


MKAR is not new been on Subaru Website as a dealer for at least twelve months that i know of?!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Well it looks like I will be getting my new car from them so I'll post my views when it happens.

Wrote off my sti & the insurers have gone to M Kar for the replacement.
