i would not run one at 1.8 bar, mine spectacular failed at 70 000 miles on my 97 wrx running a peak of 1.35bar and usually holding 1.1 bar.
when i stripped it down the main bearing had collapsed and the blades had all smashed into the side wall and shattered into tiny little bits into the intercooler, i also found some of the bits of metal as far back as the air filter

They say they can run 1.8bar but seriously wouldnt run one much over 1.2bar for reliability. Try looking at this. Turbo Info - Subaru Impreza Drivers Club
