For those of you who are interested, I've just had it repaired
and the results are excellent.
If you didn't know where the burn was, you wouldn't be able to tell that there had been a burn in the first place.
Cost £20, it took the chap about half an hour.

don't throw them near my wifes car either... it had a petrol leak!
