Bolt replacement?

Bolt replacement?
I know that the header tank has a seal and I assume the powersteering tank will as well.
Will I be safe to replace the bolts one by one, not removing the lids, for new ones?

Just removed the ones on my header tank mate and replaced them with zinc coated ones from b&q. as long as you don't put them on tight one by one and place them hand tight at different sides then tighten them up you'll be fine.

Thats what I thought. Im going through the engine with stainless bolts and bits at the mo.

Yeah you will be fine, i replaced my header tank ones that way. While each one was out i polished up the tank to achieve this :

Replacement bolts from Stagonet online
Polished surface brought up with elbow greece & autosol
Bottom section painted mat black with high temp paint
