Thumbs up advice on what my impreza is worth?

Hi guys

I just wanted youre opinion on how much i should put my impreza up for sale? I was going to part exchange but i think ill try selling it private first. Its just that i see some going for peanuts and some going for reasonable prices so what kind of price would you put this up for?

My 96 impreza wrx import
mica blue
84,0000 (km's)
facelift bumpers ,headlights,sidelights etc..
sti spoiler
17 inch gunmetal wheels with brand new tyres
recent new rad
fuel filter
oil change
plugs etc..
scoobyworlds afterburner backbox.

The car is VERY clean with no dents or scrapes and i have really looked after it with all the receipts to prove since the purchase (me being the first uk owner).

any advice would be great

Good luck

£2750 ..... but so much depends upon the particular car, obviously.

its funny, another thread said that a turbo 2000 with 140,000 with full service history etcetc was worth about 2-2500. funny how peoples opinions change.

i think if you have time to sell it you could perhaps put it up for a bit more and wait for the right buyer but depends how rushed you are

UK Turbo and Import prices will differ. Peeps are still suspicious of JDM stuff.

thing is that car had 120000 miles on the clock which no matter what , will put people off. my car has done 850000kms which i think is roughly 60000ish .

thanks for youre advice guys , im not desperate to sell as i love the car to bits but im after a new impreza soon so i need to have a think about advertising.

Good luck with the sale and also new car hunting . Pity with these cars (older imprezas) is that they sell for peanuts; hope you are able to hang on for the right offer.

Good point mate , had a good look on egay etc and theres some right sheds out there or the owner has decided to buy the halfrauds store and chuck it over there scooby.

Ill try around £3.5k because its so clean with only facelift upgrades and very low milledge for the age, engines basicaly standerd apart from the scoobyworld backbox which hopefully will encoredge people to veiw the car.
