Default Dump Valve or not.

Hi Guys,
Ive been reading an old thread on dump valves.
I have had my 04 UK wrx for about 4 months and three weeks ago I found it had been PPP and found the papers in all the bumf the stealer gave me.
Anyway back to the dump valve, will it improve pick up below 3k rpm,
are they easy to DIY fit. Is there any down sides with them and what make is
is OK for my model. Rough prices as well please.
Not asking for much eh!
Cheers for any responses.
Mark.....

So does he He just doesn't know it, and that the one he has is the best for the job, or that it will do sweet FA for pick-up, power or anything else, except maybe ruin the smooth running and risk damage. His choice.
