Default Difference between GDA/GGA and GDB/GGB

Hi,
I am looking at ordering an Sti genome exhaust from japanparts.com : PARTS DATABASE
If you scroll down to the Genome SPORTS MUFFLER and click 'More info' you have 2 options in the 'Select size' drop down list:

WRX (EJ205)
WRX Sti (EJ207)

The website mentions: Advise us For GDA/GGA (EJ205) or GDB/GGB (EJ207).

I thought the exhausts for the WRX and Sti are interchangeable, does anyone know what the difference between GDA/GGA (EJ205) and GDB/GGB (EJ207) is?

Thanks in advance

I have a JDM GDA WRX: when I bought my HKS cat-back exhaust, I purchased a GDA specific item: it fitted perfectly. They said that it would not fit a UK car without buying an adaptor pipe or something. Having said that I think it definitely also fits a JDM STi (GDB?) since the original pipe I took off was an OEM STi mild steel job. Don't know if this helps or confuses you more!

Thanks, but that is for the middle section etc. I am only talking about the backboxes.
Aren't they the same?
What do GDA/GGA (EJ205) or GDB/GGB (EJ207) mean?

I guess GDA is Bugeye WRX Saloon, GGA is Bugeye WRX Wagon, GDB is Bugeye STi Saloon and GGB is Bugeye STi Wagon. The EJ numbers probably mean something similar.

I have never heard of a bugeye sti wagon ...
Japanparts are really slow in replying to emails and I have found an alternative source to buy the exhaust but want to make sure I order the right one.
Still confused...

EDIT> I believe I need the GDB as all exhausts from 2003-2007 have the GDB code
Other exhausts listed for models 2001/2002, 2003/2004, 2005 and 2006-2007 have two codes, GDA and GDB; so the GDA must be for 2001/2002 models
