Hi everyone, im back in the fold and very very happy. I picked up a 2007 (56 reg) hawkeye WRX today with 8k miles for £12995. Im sure it will need a PPP soon but im just so happy.

I had my first 5 door classic (M reg) back in 1995 and also had:-

2003 WRX 5-Door
2002 WRX 5-Door
1999 Classic
1998 Classic - 5 door, ex-David Yu car from Evo Mag

In between the Subaru's I have been running......

I got out of the 996 straight back in to the WRX and with big rain and muddy roads I felt so at home.

I may consider a new STI at some point,but I am sure the prices will drop quite quickly (from now) and I would be keen get one once prices settle.

Im definately gonna run the WRX for a few months. I have the new RS Focus on order (for 2009) but can get my deposit back if it's not 4x4, which it's certain (now) not to have.

Anyway, it's good to be back and I am keen for some cost effective performance upgrades, or is the PPP the way forward with 2 years warranty left?
