I only use an octane addative for runs or on the rollers for a safety margin never realy noticed a difference though, ive only tried the nos race (6 octane points) and nos street formula (3 octane points), you will see gains if you map the car with an addative but then you've got to use it all the time or risk meltdown.

I tryed some NF octain booster, dont think i really noticed any diffrence, if i did it was proberly the plazebo affect.
For a start your ecu will need a good couple of tanks to learn the extra octain in the fuel, and 6 bhp extra is hardly gonna be noticable in cars like ours that run big bhp anyways.
Just my 2p worth

got mine mapped on 2ml per lt nf. big difference, you can tell when it comes on boost. smooth and aggressive power.
tried a tank with none to see if it would take it, first time i hit full boost my knock link went nuts so had to pull over and add some and go easy
