Default PowerStation Open Day

So who went along and did you manage to have a go on the Rolling Road.

We didn't think we would get a run but its turns out they had spaces so ours did....

Great day, and loved having a good nose around.

Achieved 281.4BHP in mine. He gave it 2 runs then said theres an issue with my centre diff, said it didn't seem to get all the power out to the wheels tidy.

Never mind, still happy

How does 302.1 Bhp @ the wheels equate to 460+ at the fly ??

Bodski,
Ignore the ATW figure on a MAHA rolling road...... not to be compared with the ATW figure on say a DD rolling road. The MAHA is designed for flywheel figure production, so this is the figure that will be comparable with other RR's.

Luckily JD's car has been on 2 other dynos in the last 2 weeks , our own when mapped and a Hoffman dyno not 2 miles from us...

From memory it made 352.2bhp ATW on our Dyno Dynamics rolling road..

Engine Tuner

You sound as if you are very knowledgeable about dyno’s, especially claiming that powerstations figures are useless.

Please explain why they are useless?

...In retrospect I should have said as a comparison to the flywheel figures...

Engine Tuner

What makes you think they are transmission losses? I would say that only around 10% of the loss is transmission.

How does the dyno dynamics figure differ?
