Those of you who buy Performance Japan may recognise the Evo 7RS - quality bit of kit and a real time attack contender this year:-

Obviously these cars are likely to be broken into parts so just be wary being approached with cheap items on forums, ebay etc......

glad to hear they`ve found the Evo. Although I hope they do find the other two cars I bet they were most bothered about the Evo with the time attack championships approaching soon. Does seem like tey`re being stolen to order though, its not the most subtle of cars to nick.

Is it still £5K for the two cars??

Frankly I'd turn them in for nothing if I thought I could help.

I expect you've already been told to do something about your key security.

I saw a video of a Audi RS being nicked in Sluff ten years or so ago. The car had been parked behind others in the showroom and on the night it got moved to the front ...

Side personnel door to showroom gets smashed in.

One thief jumps in Audi driver's seat - door open.

Another thief disappears out of the back of the showroom for no more than 5-10 secs and returns with the car keys.

He hands these to the driver through the open door and courteously closes the door whilst the driver starts the car.

Key thief leaves the showroom to get into getaway car.

Driver in Audi reverses 3 yards then drives forward and smacks glass before quickly reversing.

Glass shatters and drops.

Driver goes straight out over the glass and the door frame.

Start to finish . . . less than 30 seconds!

Obviously well practised and very effective!

DC5 is in championship white and is pretty rare.... Both are believed to still be in the York area

That means they must have been spotted then I guess. A clio and an integra might be a little harder to spot than the Evo was though.
