as above,whats the going rate to fit a downpipe these days

I would expect to pay maybe £30 plus vat from garage I use. 1 hour job I would guess (would take me a day ).

depends, get em to give you a price for it fitted no per hour, can be a bitch if the bolts get stuck.

These are buggers to get off if the bolts give grief, and theres also the gaskets etc

yep totaly agree cookie, only way £30 is enough is if its brand new and engine hasn't even been run lol

I managed to get my local exhaust place to fit a whole sports exhaust system (turbo back) for little more than some money for the tea fund. If I remember, they did it for a tenner.
