Talex or Roadpilot

Talex or Roadpilot
I'm looking for another camera detector for the works van as more and more cameras are springing up over Leeds, etc
A while ago i had a Talex which was great but i sold it (to some1 on here) when i got a Tomtom with camera alerts.
Now i don't need the Tomtom everyday so a plug in detector is what i'm looking for and can't decide whether to get another Talex or a Roadpilot micro go which i've seen cheap
has anyone any comments on either?
thanks

road pilot is subscription based, as i found out when i got one from halfords. free for 6months(i think). wish i hadnt got it, thought it would show the speed limit of road you`re on as well as your current speed(it doesnt, only when your near camera)and its not free.(sitting in glovebox now...) id get another talex if i were you.

Pay £19 a year and get the best camera updates for most gps systems here... Pocket GPS World
Install it on your tom tom as a poi and job done!
Lists all of the mobile sites too and is usually updated twice a month

got the camera database fron PGPS on the tomtom but looking at a stand alone detector
the Talex i had was the full model (not lite) but i think the only difference was it warned of schools? so the lite would be ok
I read somewhere that Talex had been taken over so is their database still available to download updates?

dont no mate i have had my one for 2 years and not updated it. i have a sat nav which is updated but for the local day to day i love the talex even just for the speed clear in your face, and as a little reminders that you are going to fast in 30 zones
