Hi all, Bit of a stupid question but when is my car due for it's first MOT?

The car will be 3 years old this April and the manufacturers warranty runs out, does the car need to be MOT'd this April or next?

 

Needs an MOT on it's 3rd birthday..... ie, THIS april.....

 

You will need to look up the registration document (V5) to see when the car was first registered. It will be that date you 'll aim for for it's first MOT. I.e mine was 1st September 2003. Threfore my MOT is on every 1st September.
