Default Sticky clutch pedal

Has anyone every had a sticky clutch pedal, its sticking half way down. Keep having to put my foot underneath to bring it back up again,it makes a clicking noise when you put your full down on the clutch.
Ive sprayed WD40 and grease round the back of pedal, but still does it,so annoying!!!!

Can anyone help with this?

Yes mate after changing gear it would only come up half way , i had to put my foot under it to flick it up . think the slave cylinder was £40 odd quid but my dad is in the trade so might be a bit more not much tho .
