hi guys can anybody tell me if the only difference between the classic and face lift.
is it just a case of lights, grill & bonnet

Yup, lights, grille and bonnet will do the job but just watch out for the slanty intercooler as the under-tray wont meet up properly with it on the facelift bonnet. Also the earlier cars had a funnel which meets the scoop and sits over the turbo where the later ones just had a heatsheild.

Do a search on here and I am sure you will find people that have done the conversion.

You can always go part way and just do the grille and lights. I had done this on my wrx 95 and although it doesn't quite mesh right, it still looks pretty damn good and way better than the earlier grille / lights.

If you do go that way, you need to make a tiny modification to the plastic on the grille so you can get at the bonnet release catch, unless you have small fingers!!
