All depends if you use it all the time - the RA nav has had iffy reviews versus TomTom - Personally I have a Talex Lite in all the time and then a TomTom for the Nav when I need it

Does it show you speed in nice big numbers so you can use it as an alternative speedo and mount it in line of sight?

Does it do all the speed cameras plus av speed.?

Has it got a nice noisy alert so you can hear it?

Cheers!

Default Radar, Sat Nav cams etc..

A year has passed since my last post, so hope the community is well

I need to know what is the best all-in Sat-Nav complete with all the camera etc.. and also something that does radar guns etc...

Basically an all-in one all singing all dancing unit (if one exists).

Or the best soloution to radar guns.

I use a road angel 2 with the plug in laser detector. Lots of people say its a gimmick and maybe it is, however I have a clean license and drive about 30k a year so it must be doing something right.
All I can say is its always worked for me.

As for sat nav, cant go wrong with a Tom Tom or Garmin, industry standard.

So is the best soloution a stand alone radar unit? If so which is best?

I find the road angel great, It sits on your dash and you can add your own fix camera safety points and upload it, that is shared with everyone else that use the updates online.
If you go for it make sure you get the laser detector add on.

Tom Tom has fixed points, I cant comment on other makers as I have only used the road angel, but it cost me about £120 and its made its money back in the fines I have avoided.
