I'm no body specialist but from a couple of the photos there appears to be some major damage, I wouldn't be surprised if that was a write off??

Scary as hell that such a wreck can be put back on the road & not even appear on a HPI check

To my untrained eye it really does not look that bad. The impact could not have have been that heavy. The door have no buckling, windscreen intact etc.

Not worth what he is asking of course

Shall I.....shall I......OK then....a bit of T-Cut and it'll be sorted!

What kind of plank would drive a 40k Evo uninsured???? Something smells fishy. At least it's got ahalf a tank of juice in it.

yup, proper fooked, to be honest, if he can afford a £20k salavage car he could afford the £6k to insure it, you can get insurance on ANYTHING, its wether you want to pay the ££££

a 17 yr old could insure a bugatti veryon if they wanted, yes it would cost £100k to insure, but like i said,if u got the £££

Eh did you miss

and this
http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/e...O/DSC00291.jpg

and if the bonnet has been pushed back like it has, there must have been a lot of force on it which means theres a good chance that the chassis and axle could be bent then you have a course the total respray taht it will require.

Yeah, its not that bad... I've seen bonnets that have been folded in half and there hasn't been any major structural damage to the car - the fact that the airbags didn't deploy says a lot; that was probably only a 10-15mph glancing shunt. Thats very likely repairable and there wouldn't be anything wrong with it once it was done - you wouldn't even be able to tell; its not a wreck by any means. The only thing that raises my concerns are the comments about the boot floor, but you really need to be able to get around and under it to see what effect (if any) that has had on the rest of the chassis - its not a certain show stopper.

That said; I still wouldn't want to pay £20k for it!
