Default NEW TO SCOOBY NET

HI IM NEW TO SCOOBY NET ive got a standard wrx wagon and had it for over a year now,its a inport on a 94 plate.i have all the manifactures user manuals but the problem is i dont understand them[japanise]. i have a button on the center consal next to the handbrake marked
AT
MANU
when its turned on it lights up on my dash board MANU.what does this mean and how will it effect my driving

sounds like some sort of sport mode overdrive or something if it is an auto!

sorry and yes its an auto 2000cc wagon and i dont think that its been modifide since new, and yes i do leave it well alone.

at and manu is tiptronic iirc then, so you can have it just normal auto, and if you click auto its up and down? neilg its quite common as the autos are a lot cheaper to buy and apparantly its a fairly straight forward replacement.
