Wink CLARKSON SPOT ON

how right has jeremy clarkson got the general description of a subaru owner
i think he's spot on,
his quote on the topgear script was very apt
although his slateing of the new cars performance , i'm not convinced, i think a lot of these reports on cars performance are boring and nonsense, magazines full of reports are fookin boring and when are the majority of drivers on here ever going to know the difference over the last model or even get the old model near its limit

Think about it, this is for the same reason that people with STDs don't walk around wearing a Tshirt saying:

"I've got the clap"

Actually, you'd be more likely to laid wth a 'clap' T-shirt than one bearing a Kia emblem!

Same here. In fact, my impression of rally stage car parks is that most people who wear Subaru jackets don't get out of Scoobs.

Oh, and just for the sake of the demographics -- like NS04, I didn't buy my doctorate either.

I did find the Clarkson thing funny, and a bit on the true side.

When I suggested to my missus that we go to a scoob meet she did say "will there be scoob nerds there wearing those blue fleeces?"

Its like if you were to be a cool rock star, you wouldnt play a gibson, and wear a gibson t-shirt too - it just looks sad!

I'm not so sure someone that makes his bank account information publicly available - and is then surprised that money has been stolen - should really be commenting about the intelligence of others.

Whats wrong with that? lol Just kidding!
I have a fleece & Jacket, purely to annoy those who sit in maccy d's car park or when around the market. Its been a way of life, whatever you drive.
I remember going to the BMF, yes I am a biker too, and seeing people getting out of their cars with leathers on, just to look the part.
Its the same with Porsche/Ferrari or Ducati clothing, how many do you see wearing them, just to look at them & know they dont own either?
I am proud of what I drive & love every minute of it. What looks crap is a Kia driver wearing a Subaru jacket...lol

Each to their own, I am GC8 forever!

common lets be honest people who wear leathers and turn up in a car are sad, but not as bad as those damn ducati owners
one thing that is seriously sad
a person wearing a ducati jacket
could even put them above subaru jacket wearers bit close that one
and ducati owners gay, gay, gay
very few can ride them or actually go out on them and how sad a ducati owner in full ducati leathers,

GC8 ?????????

lol yeah, my GSXR whoops the dukes purely cos I aint scared of sliding it down the road. Theyre fast in a straight line, only once have I come across a duke rider who can actually ride one. I mean properly riding one!

Thats the thing though isnt it. People who dont own Ferrari may have a Ferrari jacket or t-shirt. I dont mind that, seeing a someone get out of a volvo at a petrol station wearing the red Ferrari t-shirt, no issue.

Its when they do own a Ferrari AND wear the t-shirt (whilst driving) thats the crime. If I saw someone at a petrol station get out of a Ferrari wearing a Ferrari t-shirt (probably a little too tight aswell) I would think "nice car" shame about the saddo driving it.

Its the fine line where obsession becomes sad and embarrasing. I am obsessed about my car, think about it endlessly, but would never dress up in the blue and yellow - thats a step too far for me!

Is this the same Clarkson who wears suit jackets/blazers with jeans, and has shame of his huge gut hanging out.

In that case i'm not too fussed what his opinion of my clothing is

(Yes own a Subaru fleece. I sometime wear it because a) i'm cold, or b) it's comfy)
