Evo shares in Halfords
#1
While driving along the M4 at a moderate blast towards London, I passed a very clean blue Evo VI, now I’m not one to dis any car, but with so much plastic sticking out and on top of this car, plus the double rear spoiler, it make me wonder if the company has any shares in a well known car accessory shop! Any thoughts???

I been resisting replying to this thread.......
At the end of the day it all comes down to personal taste.Simple as that.Put a Scoob next to an Evo in the car park and the Scoob wont even get noticed..if thats what you want then fine
I personally wanted a car that stands out(dont get me wrong, the Scoob also does that very well) and one of the cars that does that best is the Evo6, plus it has better performance to boot!
Rich.
/me gets ready with keepnet

never liked the look of the evo, especially the 5 and 6.
however, now that ive seen what an evo4 looks like, especially the silver ones, ive changed my mind.i think the 4 is a VERY good looking car IMHO.
the new wrx/sti7 is absolutely revolting, and i will not buy one. rather have a good pre my01 anyday.

Absolute ****e about the plastic fantastic bit...... The Evo 6's may oooze testosterone rather blatantly, but looks damn evil, funnily enough like the rally car that is derived from. Gets my vote. Evo 7,Hmmm, different, very played down compared with it's predecessor, but still big ol' ***** under the hood
The P1/STI VI and 22B are worshipped as pretty well the top bollox scoobs on here and they have a pile of plastic bits, widened arches etc. Look gourgeous as well.
The New shape Scoobs in standard form did look repulsive in boggo standard form when they came out IMO, but once that bits became available, they completely transformed. The pair that Dave T S owns and has modded are pretty well amongst the most beautiful cars that I have ever seen, so quite a turnaround for me.
Cheers,
Nick.

Well said LeighJ.
I've owned two Imprezas, the last being a full Scoobysport version. I now own an Evo6.
I'm Mr Average when it comes to driving. I wuss out long before the limits of the car are reached.
I like scoobs, I like evos and I'd like a Skyline.
In the end, I'm thankful that I can afford to own these cars.

the 4 / 5 / 6 lines aren't so bad if you get close and have a good look around one. I prefer em to the scooby (new and old).
Just cos you see em from a distance or a small photo and they look different. Get to the showroom and have a good look at / round a tasty white or black one. Yummy lookers. Just take a bit of getting used to
edited to add - 2 door scoob can look pretty tasty I must admit
