Default ECU reset 02 STI UK

Is it true that you cannot reset the ECU from under the dashboard like you can on the older cars?

If so, does anyone in the sussex area have a laptop and software. I can't take the car anywhere at the moment.

Thanks peeps

this is correct, you need laptop or OBD2 reset device etc..

I am in Kent.. but over Sussex way every so often..

You say you cannot take the car anywhere? it won't drive?

Can you PM me your address again so I can post this error code reader out for you to borrow..

Sorry I deleted your PM due to space and the Mrs tided up the piece of paper with your address on.. it would be quicker if you resend than we wait for the paper to resurface..

Thanks
Simon
