jap number plates where from?

my jdm scoob has the long thin uk plates and i dont like em. where can i get the square ones jdm stylee. r they legal, i had them on my pulsar???

think fancyplates.com do them its the option at the end when you have entered all the details they ask you what plate size you want have a look as i am not 100% though
