Hi there,

Ive only had my scoobie for about 7 months and had it serviced straight away at Days in Chelmsford, Essex.

Have booked it in for next week for service and MOT but have just found out the garage is shutting down at the end of the month and from the article in the paper it would appear that there maybe a lot of forced redundancies.

So am now kind of reluctant as there would be no comeback if something went wrong if the the garage doesnt exist.

Has anyone tried Wilsons in chadwell Heath or can recommend somewhere else in the london/essex area.

Don't bother with Wilsons. As you are possibly in the Chelmsford area, go to Xtreme scoobies at Boreham. Cheaper and better than a main dealer and warrenty friendly. Xtreme Scoobies - Tel: 01245 363623

Am based in London, but heard Days were good so thats why i went to Chelmsford.

Are wilsons poor then or just expensive??

Its an unmodified imprezza so just a standard service and MOT

 

Between me and my son we have had four new Imprezas and one EVO IX from Wilsons. They're not Subaru agents anymore although they still service them. I personally would rather go to an independant specialist such as Xtremes, even though it's a 70 mile round trip as opposed to 6 miles for Wilsons! (and it's still cheaper overall!) My son also has his EVO serviced there while it's still in warrenty.
